Protexis glove latex micro is the powder-free sterile surgical glove made of latex with extra sensitivity. The Protexis Micro gloves are 20% thinner than the average surgical glove. Made with Surface Modification Technology (Protexis SMT) for a softer glove that reduces glare when under an OR lamp.
The Protexis gloves consist of three layers for extra comfort, protection and improved performance.
Natural rubber latex outer layer for a soft feel and high elasticity
A synthetic nitrile middle layer to strengthen the glove
An inner layer of 100% synthetic nitrile for easier donning.
These sterile protexis latex micro gloves are not suitable for people with a latex allergy. They are made of a combination of Latex and Nitrile with a nitrile inner coating. As an alternative latex-free surgical glove, there is the Protexis PI (Polyisoprene) glove from the Cardinal range.
