MELAstore enables an efficient workflow from patient treatment to reprocessing and storage of instruments.
The use of the MELAstore Box 200 saves a lot of time, consumables and money every day compared to sealing and packaging individual instruments.
After cleaning and disinfection, the MELAstore Trays are placed directly in the MELAstore Box and sealed - this already completes the packaging process. This is because the filter inserted in the lid ensures the sterilization results in the long term.
The filter is available as a disposable paper filter or as a permanent filter. For labeling the MELAstore Box, MELAG offers labeling plates with and without barcode inscription to ensure complete documentation.

MELAstore is an innovative loading system which enables considerable savings of both time and money, whilst improving the quality of the entire instrument treatment system through standardization and documentation. The MELAstore system consists of an integrated combination of wash trays (MELAstore Tray) and sterilization containers (MELAstore Box). The instruments are inserted directly in the MELAstore Trays, which are then placed in the appropriate MELAtherm tray mount. This is followed by cleaning and disinfection in the MELAtherm.
Then the MELAstore Trays are placed in the appropriate MELAstore Box; thereby completing the packing process. These MELAstore boxes are simply loaded into the steam sterilizer. This system saves up to 30 minutes per decontamination cycle compared to the packing of individual instruments in sterilization packaging and sealing. The MELAstore system saves not only time, materials and money; the safe storage protects the instruments against damage and the practice team against injury.
Use MELAstore to increase the load capacity of the MELAtherm and Vacuklav.
The special tray mounts developed for the loading of MELAtherm with MELAstore Trays enable the simultaneous cleaning and disinfection of 12 MELAstore Trays 100 or 24 MELAstore-Trays 50. This corresponds to a 50 % increase in the load quantity without alteration to the compact exterior dimensions, and continued economical consumption. The load quantity of Evolution series steam sterilizers is 9 kg with low water and energy consumption. It is possible to sterilize four MELAstore boxes 100 at the same time. This makes the steam sterilizers of the Evolution series the best-performing practice steam sterilizers of their class.
